Our History
Three years in the making, the first Ramona Grape Stomp was held in 2017 The vision of Kim Lasley, Rotary President, School Board member, Senior Center Board member and dedicated supporter of the Ramona community, Kim can be seen leading and volunteering at events throughout the year such as the Fourth of July fireworks celebration, the Ramona Rib Fest and many Ramona school events.

Kim’s vision was to celebrate Ramona’s blossoming winery industry with a fun-filled family event. What better way to do that than with a grape stomp? Scheduled during the fall grape harvest season, these three prominent Ramona organizations agreed to sponsor Kim’s idea:
- The Ramona Valley Vineyard Association
- The Ramona Senior Center
- The Rotary Club of Ramona
Kim, together with a small but mighty group of volunteers are behind the Ramona Grape Stomp. The first Ramona Grape Stomp was held on September 9, 2017. The Press unanimously considered the first event a smashing success.
